Sam runs a social enterprise called Citizen Songwriters to inspire people and communities to discover their stories through writing lyrics, creating music and performance.
Citizen Songwriters supports social isolated groups including people from refugee backgrounds by providing professionally facilitated workshops and opportunities for performance. The programme includes interactive workshops on storytelling, writing lyrics, making melodies, crafting songs as well as rehearsing and performing them through the Stories of Sanctuary project.
